SUMMARY:Dona Ochoa – Preventing Evictions and Homelessness in Idaho
DESCRIPTION:\nDona Ochoa is the grants manager for Jesse Tree.  Growing up in Boise, Dona noticed the rapid population growth and had always been aware of the housing issue in the Treasure Valley. Before coming to Jesse Tree, Dona worked in elementary education at a Title I school and regularly witnessed the impacts of housing instability on K-6 students. They have written grants for local arts collectives and continue to serve on the Grant Review Board for the Boise Department of Arts and History (FY23, FY24). After serving as Jesse Tree’s Americorps VISTA Grant Writer, Dona stayed with the organization as the Grants Manager and has been with Jesse Tree since November 2022.\n\n
