DESCRIPTION:\nAs a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over fifteen years of experience as a\nbehavioral health therapist, Matt has dedicated his career to helping those who reside in the\ncommunity where he was born and raised. As the Clinical Director of an outpatient behavioral\nhealth clinic serving diverse populations, Matt recognized the growing need for more\ncomprehensive and readily available mental health services for children and adolescents.\nThis passion for supporting the child and adolescent populations in Idaho led Matt to join the\nleadership team that successfully opened a state-of-the-art 90-bed inpatient psychiatric facility\nin Meridian. It was at this facility where Matt developed and expanded adolescent-focused\nIntensive Outpatient (IOP) programs that were previously not available in Idaho. With the\nintroduction of IOP programs to the mental healthcare system of Idaho, adolescents finally had\naccess to an intensive form of treatment designed to prevent hospitalization or prevent the re-\nhospitalization of those who were recently discharged. The launching of these evidence-based\nservices expanded access to psychiatric services for an underserved population and set a new\nstandard for patient-centered care in the region.\n\n
