SUMMARY:Rotary Holiday Luncheon–donated gifts encouraged!
DESCRIPTION:\nThis coming Thursday, December 19, there will be no speaker, we will instead be celebrating the holidays with our fellow Club members and their kids and grandkids from noon to 1:00 pm.\n\nWe will also be collecting toys for two of our local non-profits who serve some of the disadvantaged youth in our community.\nIf you want to help with this toy drive, please consider picking up one of the following and bringing it with you – UNWRAPPED – on Thursday:\n\nEducational toys like: board books, preschool books\nPuzzles for all ages\nStackable toys\nBlocks\nBibs\nBaby dolls of various ethnicities\nBusy board or flannel boards\nGames for preschoolers such as matching\nPlay kitchen food or dishes/pots and pans\nPlay tool sets\nDress up outfits\nMagnetic toys for older kids\nAnything STEM, language arts or literacy related\n\nAll donated toys will be given to Giraffe Laugh and Interfaith Sanctuary to provide support for some of the children they serve.  Consider taking your children or grandchildren with you as you do the shopping – this is a perfect time to engage them in thinking about others!\n\nIn addition to collecting toys, we will enjoy the magic of holiday music and song under the direction of Bill Agler and Jerry Schroeder.  We are so lucky to have them both as members of our Club!\n\nWear your beautiful – or UGLY – holiday sweater and come prepared to enjoy comradery, song and the celebration of another year of MAGIC thanks to the generosity of everyone involved in our Club who contribute their time, talent and treasure for the betterment of each other, our community and our world!\n\nHope to see you and your kids or grandkids on Thursday.\n\n
