SUMMARY:Stacie Tornga – Camp Rainbow Gold
DESCRIPTION:\n\nTracy joined Camp Rainbow Gold in 2016 as our Program Director. She now serves as Director of Operations.  She has over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector in volunteer management, program development and evaluation, and organizational operations.\nShe is a native Oregonian and grew up in beautiful Southern Oregon. She graduated college from the University of Oregon in Eugene, with a degree in political science and nonprofit administration.\nTracy became passionate about volunteerism and the importance of nonprofits at a young age and chose to attend U of O because of their nonprofit program, one of the few in the country at the time. When she moved to Idaho in 2008, CRG caught her eye, and she jumped at the chance to join the team when the opportunity arose.\nHer favorite camp memories are seeing the magic of CRG through the camper’s eyes. She loves watching youth campers walk into the dining hall each morning in awe of new decorations and the counselors and volunteers in fun and silly costumes. Ending the nights with warm campfires filled with silly songs and skits while staring at the mountain is a great way to celebrate life and is a reminder of the love and hope driving our programs. busy chasing after twin boys, doing home projects, and finding things while thrifting in her spare time,\n\nPhoto: Miranda Crosby, Volunteer Manager\n\nMiranda was born in Kansas City, Missouri and grew up in the Girl Scouts where she got her start in the camp world. She grew up loving the outdoors and thus she made her way to South Dakota to get her degree in Outdoor Education from Black Hills State university. After graduation, Miranda used that time to live and work all around the country.\nFrom working at camps in Kansas, Montana, New York, North Carolina and Texas, to being a zipline guide in the beautiful Nantahala National Forest, and then onto working in the ski industry in Colorado, she is happy to finally call Boise home. Once Miranda moved here in 2024, she knew this was the place to be. After making her start as a crew leader with the Idaho Conservation Corps, she went on to work at Bogus Basin’s Snow School, Meridian’s summer day camp and worked in activities at a senior living facility before finding her way to Camp Rainbow Gold in 2026.\nMiranda is so excited to have made her way back into the camp world as the Volunteer Manager. She can’t wait to collaborate with volunteers so that our campers can have the best summer yet.\nJoin us for lunch as a guest or visiting Rotarian!\n\n
