DESCRIPTION:\n\nA predictive outlook for the 2026 fire season!\n\n\nJim is a Bureau of Land Mgmt (BLM) meteorologist at the National Interagency Fire\nCenter (NIFC) Predictive Services unit for the past five years. Prior to his current\nassignment to NIFC, he was involved with fire management for over 25 years, starting\nas an Incident Meteorologist (IMET) at the National Weather Service in Elko, Nevada,\nthen in Reno before moving to his current position. He has had over 50 deployments to\nwildfires from 2002-2020 all across the West, including several in central and southern\nIdaho.\n\nPlease join us for lunch as a guest or visiting Rotarian!\n\n
