Carson Spears- Warhawk Museum
Carson Spears
Carson joined the Warhawk family in 2023 as the Executive Director, but he had the unique opportunity to grow up in his Dad’s Museum of the Forgotten Warriors in Marysville, CA where he was taught from a young age about the importance of honoring our military and veterans for their service. He has many memories of his Mom and Dad welcoming home veterans and helping them as they returned home from Vietnam. Carson went to UC Davis on an Army ROTC scholarship and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Field Artillery on 8/1/2001. He served as a platoon leader in Southern Baghdad deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. After returning home he attended law school and earned his MBA to better assist veterans with deployment-related issues. He worked 18 years as a senior operations manager in the civilian sector leading teams ranging from 150-500 employees before joining the Warhawk Air Museum.
Carson is a Mission43 Leaders Fellow and is actively involved in helping veterans in Idaho. He and his wife Erin have a 5-year-old daughter Ainsely, a 2-year-old son Jackson, and 2 Corgi puppies that keep them both very busy. In his free time, Carson loves team roping, hunting, and exploring Idaho with his family in their camper.
