Erin Johansen, Business and Community Relations Coordinator, Ada County Highway District

The Ada County Highway District (ACHD) is the only countywide highway district in the nation.  Established in 1971 as an independent government entity, ACHD covers all of Ada County including the six cities within it.  It is responsible for planning, construction, maintenance and improvements to Ada County’s local road and bridges.

Erin Johansen serves as a liaison between ACHD and the business and residential community to help mitigate any negative impact construction projects may have on businesses or in the community. She provides up-to-date information on construction phasing and progress of projects to those who are impacted by construction in Ada County. Erin actively organizes, implements and participates in outreach activities to explain ACHD programs and construction projects to volunteer organizations, school districts, chambers, HOA’s, neighborhood associations and the business community.
