Vera Zdravkova – U.S. Department of State: Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs

Join us as we welcome Vera Zdravkova, Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State, who will share a behind-the-scenes perspective on global service, diplomacy, and building strategic partnerships—through the lens of someone who calls Idaho home.

Vera was born in Slovakia, grew up in Bulgaria and moved to rural Idaho as a teenager. She graduated from American Falls High School and later earned a degree in international business from Boise State. Vera and her husband Ehsan, who works in agriculture technology live in Eagle with their two daughters, Emma and Sofia. Vera splits her time between Idaho and Washington, D.C
