President Elect Sean Wall-Fireside Chat
Come hear from our own Sean Wall, who is our president elect for 2026-2027. Rev. Sean Wall returned to Idaho after a 32-year absence and assumed the duties as the Dean of St. Michael’s. Sean grew up in McCall, ID and attended the University of Idaho. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as an Ensign in the U.S. Navy and traveled to Pensacola, FL for training as an F-14 Tomcat Radar Intercept Officer (RIO). However, before leaving the Gem State, he stopped by St. Michael’s to be married to his sweetheart, Melissa, in her home church. They spent a fabulous “honeymoon” driving to Pensacola with their dachshund, Bear. Sean served in the Navy for 20 years, accumulating just under 2,000 hours in the F-14 and 300 aircraft carrier landings. He had the privilege of seeing much of the world and visiting places that he never imagined as a kid from small town Idaho. After his retirement, Sean, Melissa, and their four children lived in West Linn, OR, allowing Melissa to focus on her career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Meanwhile, Sean attended seminary at Church Divinity School of the Pacific in Berkeley, CA. Sean and Melissa are both proud Rotarians and looking forward to spending the upcoming year as President and the First Lady!
