Whitney Elementary Restorative Center
We are excited to announce that the Rotary Club of Boise has generously donated funds to Whitney Elementary to complete the school’s Restorative Center. This donation will allow the school to purchase new furniture and materials to create a supportive, comfortable environment for students.
The Restorative Center was created to provide students with extra practice in developing essential social and emotional skills. Recognizing that many of their students face challenges in these areas, the staff at Whitney Elementary wanted to offer a dedicated space where students can work on building emotional regulation, appropriate behaviours, and accountability – tools that are crucial for their overall success.
Thanks to the Rotary Club’s donation, Whitney Elementary is now better equipped to support its students’ emotional growth and ensure they have the skills they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
