Our Club has sponsored 5 students to attend RYLA this year!

What is RYLA?

Rotary Youth Leadership Academy hosts incoming juniors through outgoing seniors in high school for a 4-day leadership camp at Camp Cascade in Donnelly, Idaho.  The price per camper is $550 (paid by sponsoring Rotary club). This covers all food and lodging and will be paid for by the campers’ sponsoring Rotary Club.

What happens at RYLA?

Every summer, 60-100 teenagers from around Idaho and Eastern Oregon share a long weekend at the Camp Cascade in Donnelly, Idaho for an intensive four day leadership camp. High school students who are incoming juniors to outgoing seniors are sponsored by Rotary clubs to attend the camp.

The Rotary Youth Leadership Award program, RYLA, is a leadership development program that roughly spans one year. The program consist of:

3. Potential Ongoing Mentoring Opportunities from Local Rotary Member((s)
4. Potential to Return to the RYLA Summer Camp the Following Year as a Camp Leader
